The territory of the municipality is situated on the south of the Republic of Srpska by the very border with the federation of BiH, on the right bank of the Ugar river, in the southeast part of the region of Banjaluka covering the area between the municipalities of Banja Luka, Celinac, Kotor Varos, Jajce Mrkonjic Grad and Travnik.
Roads interconnect the center of the municipality with Banjaluka and with Travnik via Turbe. After a Dayton determination of the boundary of the Federation of BiH, the teritory of the Knezevo was left with an area of 360 square kilometers.
According to the latest data available, 13.800 people who live in ten local communities inhabit this area.
Knezevo itself, situated at an altitude of 861 meter above sea level, has 890 households with a total of 3.300 inhabitants.

Sport,recreation and tourist center is interconnected with Banjaluka and Travnik by asphalt roads.It is 50 kilometers away from those towns.As part of sport, recreation and tourism center you enjoy in a gym,ski trales, ski lift Srebrenik, as like in modern sport hall open every day from 8 AM to 11 PM.

municipality.
It started with work in 1960 as asotiation of hunters who maintaines the nature beauty and balance of wild animals.
Rivers Ugar and Ilomska is natural resorces of Knezevo municipality. Fishermans can enjoy in fishing brown trout, graylings and huchen in those rivers. Local fishing club maintaine the nature balance of fishes.
Tradition of hunting and fishing and respecting the nature made Kneževo as center of hunting and fishing in Republic of Srpska and BiH.
Ski Center Knezevo
Ski center Knezevo is situated at an altitude of 1.250 meters it is four kilometers from the center of the city. Skiers who decide to vacation in this ski and air spa center, have available three ski tracks- red 800 meters, blue 950 and junior trak long 300 meters.

Hotel OMAR
Is a B-category hotel with 156 beds in single bedded, twin-bedded, three-bedded rooms and apartments, an aperitif bar, a restaurant, a caffe bar and a disco club.A baby ski lift is in the close vicinity of the hotel and another one is only 300 m away.the third ski lift is situated on a site called Srebrenik 6.5 km away from the hotel.
